Estonian Air

Estonian Air is a regional; airline that is based in Tallinn. It is the national carrier of Estonia. With 166 employees, Estonian air has become the fastest growing European airline. This was achieved through a decision by its government to invest EUR 30 million in it in 2011.  Although there was an increase of about 33 percent after 9 months, unfortunately, the loss also increased. The CEO of Estonian air, Jan Palmer has explained that this was due to intense pressure on the price of tickets and the volatility in the eastern markets. Consequently, the airline recorded a net loss that is almost double the amount in the same period a year ago.

What you can Expect Flying Estonian Air.

Consumers often are presently surprised with the quality of service at Estonian Air. For instance, some customers have given high ratings to their CRJ900 plane which is quite roomy. For a small airport, it certainly is one of the best. There service keeps improving every year. However you might have to pay for your own food and for a boarding pass. Remember to bring cash, Visa cards may not be accepted.
Destinations

Estonian Air has a lot of routes with plans to add some seasonal flights. These flights will be to Munich and Milan between December 2014 to March 2015 and April to November 2015 respectively. Their standard routes include places like Stockholm, Munich, and lots of others.
Future of Estonian Air

The airline now has more share of the Tallinn based charter market and has also signed an agreement with a lot of travel agencies in Estonia to operate through the winter and summer. This will make more efficient utilization of the government owned airline’s free capacity. There is an ongoing plan that might change the ownership of the airline. Estonian Air is likely to take on a new face once the expected investment from infortar Group is actualized later in the year. Of course the present owner which is the Estonian Government will have to approve these changes before anything can be done.
